Your friends with the San Diego American Flag Football League (SDAFFL) are pleased to invite you to participate in the 3rd Annual Surf & Turf Bowl Flag Football Tournament to be held in San Diego California.  The tournament will be held the weekend of April 26th and 27th.  Surf & Turf will be comprised of two divisions: an Open Division and for the first time ever a Women's Division.  In addition to the action on the fields, we will have events lined up to showcase San Diego, what we affectionately call America's Finest City.

The 2014 Open Division for the 2014 San Diego Surf & Turf Bowl is Limited to twelve (12) teams. Ten (10) of the team slots will be reserved for "non-local" teams (as defined below), and two (2) of the teams slots will be reserved for "local" teams (also defined below).

The Women's Division will be limited to eight (8) teams. Five (5) of the team slots will be reserved for "non-local" teams, and three (3) of the teams will be reserved for "local" teams.

Local teams are still encouraged to register for the tournament, as a need for additional teams in the Open and Women's Division may arise. Local teams will be placed on a priority list, based on registration date (as defined below), to fill the remaining "non-local" team slots if sufficient teams have not registered for the tournament by March 30, 2014. The Host Committee will use this priority list to complete the Open and Women's Division team slots on March 30, 2014.

A team will be considered "non-local" if at least 80% of its roster is comprised of players residing outside of the jurisdiction of the SDAFFL. (For example a team of sixteen (16) players would need at least thirteen (13) players who reside outside of the jurisdiction of the SDAFFL to be considered "non-local.") A "local" team is one that does not meet the criteria of a "non-local" team.

No team will be considered registered until payment is received in full. Partial payment is insufficient to establish priority status.
